
Larry Shosid is a partner of the Dallas-based law firm, Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP. His areas of expertise include corporate law; securities law; real estate; commercial lending; and energy. He has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings (both public and private placements), general corporate representations, partnerships, international transactions, entertainment law, franchise, lending, intellectual property and various real property and energy transactions.
Larry received a bachelor's of business administration with highest honors from the University of Texas and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He was admitted to practice in Texas in 1987.
Larry is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, the Dallas Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He was selected as a "Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He has presented on Buying and Growing Portfolio Companies in Today's Environment and Operating and Growing Private Equity Portfolio Companies. Additionally, he is the author of the article Director Oversight Liability, which was published in Texas Lawyer.
Larry's personal time is devoted to his family, which consists of his wife, Nancy, and his children, Weston and Abby; coaching youth sports; boating; and jogging.
