Carol Cummings
CEO/Executive Director
Carol started her career in the non-profit world at City Year, a national service organization that serves communities by engaging citizens in volunteerism. As program director for operations, planning, and service, she designed strategic organizational models and service plans for a team of 70 volunteers.
Carol then spent eight years in the business world at TAC Worldwide, developing contingent workforce solutions for Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and Canada. She served as program manager for multiple accounts and moved to vice president of corporate accounts, receiving the organization's Presidential Excellence Award for her successful efforts.
She earned a master's degree, cum laude, from Emory University's Candler School of Theology and a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Texas A&M University.
Carol is a member of Grace Covenant Church and the Jewish Community Association of Austin. To stay fit, she dedicates herself to running and swimming.
A fourth-generation Texan, Carol was born and raised in San Antonio and now lives in Austin. Whenever she gets a chance, she journeys to France to visit her three nieces and nephew and sister and brother-in-law in Bordeaux.
